Thierry Henry has reportedly been offered a long-term contract as Bordeaux head coach.
The Arsenal and France legend recently quit his punditry position on Sky Sports to focus on management.
Henry also has experience of working alongside Roberto Martinez with the Belgium national side, helping the Red Devils to a third-place finish at the World Cup before stepping down.
According to Sky Sports News, the 41-year-old has asked for time to consider their offer and has confirmed that he will make a decision by the end of this week.
Bordeaux suspended Gus Poyet last week after the Uruguayan criticised the club's owners for selling striker Gaetan Laborde to rivals Montpellier without his permission.
