Bordeaux midfielder Gregory Sertic has told his teammates to replicate their performance against Ajaccio in their upcoming matches.
Sertic was among the scorers at Stade Chaban-Delmas as Les Girondins eased to a 4-0 win over Ajaccio, with a Jussie brace and a goal from Nicolas Maurice-Belay completing the rout.
"I'm very happy," Sertic told reporters. "It's great to score at home; it had been a long time. Collectively, we rediscovered our cutting edge in attack.
"We needed these three points to make a push and climb back up the table after two complicated matches [against Nantes in Ligue 1 and Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League].
"We're happy but this win wasn't an end in itself. We need to back it up in Guingamp this week. They have the same number of points as we do, and we need to replicate today's performance so we don't start slipping down the table again."
Bordeaux find themselves ninth in Ligue 1.
