Gaetan Charbonnier's header cancelled out an opener from Isaac Thelin as Bordeaux and Reims played out a 1-1 draw in Ligue 1 this evening.

Reims were the first to threaten when Benjamin Moukandjo broke down the flank to cross for Odair Fortes, but he sent his header wide of the right post.

Bordeaux responded to conceding that chance straight away by pulling in front as Wahbi Khazri found Thelin, who tucked into the bottom-left corner from close range.

The away side hit back with what was their next major chance as Charbonnier latched onto Moukandjo's cross to head smartly down past Cedric Carrasso.

Reims pushed for a goal to put them into the lead after the break and Prince Oniangue came close when he forced a smart stop from Carrasso with a long-range shot.

Bordeaux had not given up the fight for three points, though, and Kazri came within inches when his strike was kept out at the bottom corner to leave the game at a draw.
