Boreham Wood and Lincoln City have played out a 1-1 draw in their National League clash at Meadow Park.
The hosts were struggling in their first season in the division after being promoted via the playoffs in May, and they were dominated by in-form City in the first half, with the visitors' top scorer Matt Rhead heading wide early on.
The Imps' early pressure was rewarded after 18 minutes when Rhead did find the net, heading home Lee Beevers's corner after good work from Jack Muldoon to record his 15th goal of the season.
Midway through the first half the hosts restored parity through Clovis Kamdjo's fine header from Anthony Jeffrey's cross.
Rhead headed wide as Lincoln looked to recover from the setback, and James Russell denied Muldoon with a fine stop as the visitors pressed to restore their advantage.
Kamdjo sliced wide from 20 yards in the second half as the game opened up, but an encounter of few chances ended all square as the away side's winning run was ended by the resilient hosts.
