Sebastian Kehl has admitted that it has been a tough season for Borussia Dortmund, but the midfielder says that the club will not give up hope of winning the Bundesliga title.
Dortmund fell 14 points behind league leaders Bayern Munich after being held to a 2-2 draw against Augsburg at the Westfalenstadion on Saturday.
Despite this, the German insists last season's Champions League finalists will keep on fighting .
"Life goes on. We're not going to tear ourselves apart and start pointing fingers," Kehl told the official Bundesliga website. "We're certainly not going to raise the white flag and give up either.
"It's not been easy for us this season, but we're not going to hide and we won't go looking for excuses. We'll take the situation as it is."
Dortmund return to league action on Friday night when they travel to bottom of the table Eintracht Braunschweig.
