Bournemouth have reportedly identified MK Dons manager Karl Robinson as their number one target to take the helm at Dean Court.
Robinson is widely regarded as one of the best young managers in lower-league football but Dons chairman Pete Winkelman recently said that he had received no approach from the south coast outfit.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the Cherries' financial stature, which is believed to be four times that of MK Dons because of Russian backing, could be enough to persuade Robinson to take up a new challenge.
Robinson's side currently sit fifth in League One, while Bournemouth, who parted company with manager Paul Groves earlier this month, are down in 21st.
