Bournemouth striker Yann Kermorgant has said that he will play without sentiment if he faces former club Charlton Athletic tonight.
The French striker moved South on transfer deadline day but might not be fit enough to face his old club because of a heel injury.
Although Kermorgant said that Charlton will be in his "heart", he is just thinking of the job at hand.
"I will never forget what happened at Charlton and the relationship I had with the Charlton fans - it will stay in my heart forever," he told Bournemouth's website.
"But I am at a new club now and I will not play for Bournemouth thinking of Charlton. I'm desperate to play and become an important player for the team and make the fans here happy."
Kermorgant, 32, scored a hat-trick on his full Bournemouth debut at the start of the month but has missed every game since.
