Jason Tindall: 'Bournemouth should have scored more than five against Cardiff City'

Bournemouth assistant manager Jason Tindall believes that the Cherries should have scored more than five in their Championship thrashing of Cardiff City.

Bournemouth assistant manager Jason Tindall has declared that the Cherries should have scored more than five goals in yesterday's win over Cardiff City.

A 5-3 victory took Bournemouth to the top of the Championship, and they are only ahead of Middlesbrough because of the fact that they have scored more goals [44] than anyone else in the division.

Tindall was pleased with the attacking intent in their performance, and is certain that they could have had more at Dean Court.

"It was one of those games that, especially seeing it from the touchline, we always felt that we could create chances and it was just a matter of whether we take them or not," he told BBC Radio Solent.

"Certainly today we've taken five of the chances we've had and on reflection of the game, we probably should have scored more."

Just one point separates the top four clubs in the second tier, with Bournemouth level on points with Middlesbrough, and Derby County and Ipswich Town a point behind in third and fourth respectively.
