Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe insists that he will "bear no grudge" towards Premier League sides with big budgets in the transfer window.

Eddie Howe has insisted that he will "bear no grudges" against Premier League sides that are spending big in the current transfer window.

Top flight newcomers Bournemouth have brought in several players on free signings, as well as securing Christian Atsu on a season-long loan from Chelsea, while breaking their transfer record to bring in Tyrone Mings for £8m.

The Cherries manager told The Mirror: "Good luck to them, every club has their own aims and ambitions and go about things in their own way. I certainly bear no grudges over anyone spending money. We are in a totally different position to those clubs.

"Being new to the Premier League, we are going make that transition with a group of players that has done fantastically well for us over a long period of time with, hopefully, some quality additions. People have said it countless times but there are different divisions within the Premier League and were certainly in a different one to those with that kind of money.

"We are still looking. It is not easy to get deals over the line and we will wait and see what the next few weeks bring."

Bournemouth won promotion to the Premier League by topping the Championship last season.
