Bournemouth goalkeeper Shwan Jalal will be offered the chance to leave the club in January, Cherries boss Eddie Howe has said.
The 30-year-old has been low down the pecking order at Dean Court this season and now Howe is ready to let him go before his contract runs out at the end of the season.
"I think the next step for his career is that he goes somewhere, plays and gets in the public eye again," Howe told the Daily Echo.
"Unfortunately, this is one of the most difficult parts of my job because he has done really well and has been a great servant to the club, both on and off the pitch."
Howe recently also said that he was contemplating a permanent offer for current number one Lee Camp, who is on loan from West Bromwich Albion.
