Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson has confirmed that striker Billy Clarke damaged the medial ligaments in his knee in the 1-1 draw with Shrewsbury Town this afternoon.
Clarke gave the Bantams a first-half lead with a well-taken strike just before the break but had to be withdrawn midway through the second half after he went down following a challenge with Connor Goldson.
Bradford's official Twitter account reports that Parkinson has revealed that the Irish forward has suffered potentially serious damage to his knee ligaments and has admitted that the club do not yet know the full extent of the injury.
