Bradford City joint-chairman Mark Lawn has stated that Sheffield United have not made an approach for manager Phil Parkinson.
The Blades are looking for a new manager after dismissing Nigel Clough on Monday, with Parkinson immediately linked with the job at Bramall Lane.
However, Lawn says that Bradford's League One rivals have not contacted the Valley Parade hierarchy about Parkinson's availability.
"We have not been approached by Sheffield United and Phil is still under contract to us," Lawn told the Telegraph & Argus.
Parkinson's current three-year contract at Bradford runs until next May.
