Bradford City manager Phil Parkinson has hailed the performance that his side put in during the first half of their 3-0 victory in the final of the League Two playoffs against Northampton Town this afternoon.
The Bantams scored all three of their goals within the opening 28 minutes as they secured their spot in League One for next season.
"We had a great first half. It was a dream start with three goals. In the second half, we were very professional. Northampton are a strong team but I thought we were excellent," he told Sky Sports News.
"We can enjoy the summer and look forward to next year. This was the 64th game of the season and enormous credit to the players for their performance. If any set of supporters deserve this it is the Bradford fans."
Parkinson also confirmed that he will discuss his future with the club in the near future.
