Bradford City are waiting to learn the extent of the foot injury that Nahki Wells suffered in Saturday's home win over Shrewsbury Town.
The 23-year-old, who has scored nine goals in 10 games for the club this season, was forced off in the first period following a clash with defender Dave Winsfield.
The highly-rated marksman, who was linked with a number of Championship clubs in the summer, underwent a scan on Monday morning, with the results expected over the next couple of days.
The Bermuda international is expected to miss next weekend's league match with Walsall, but the club are hopeful that the injury is not of a long-term nature.
