Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar is adamant that England striker Wayne Rooney was "a bit lucky" to score past him during their 2-2 draw at the Maracana on Sunday.
The Queens Park Rangers shot-stopper had little to do in the first half, but he was busier after the break when he had to pick the ball out of the net after goals from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Rooney.
The Manchester United forward's effort took a slight deflection on its way into the top corner, and Cesar feels that Rooney was fortunate.
"Both English goals were beautiful, Rooney's one deflected in off Fernando's back, it was a bit lucky," Cesar told Globo Esporte.
"We played well after conceding, but we could we improve a lot, especially in the first half, compared to other games.
"Everything was almost perfect this Sunday, only the victory didn't happen. The fans were great, we will win when we have to face a big team."
Fred had opened the scoring for Brazil before Paulinho netted a late equaliser.
