Neymar has admitted that he felt emotional after netting four times for Brazil in their 4-0 win over Japan on Tuesday.
The Barcelona attacker's four-goal haul in the international friendly took his tally to 40 goals in just 58 games for his country.
"Just talking about it gives me goosebumps," he told reporters.
"The emotion I feel is huge; I'm immensely happy to have accomplished something like this. Not in my wildest dreams did I imagine doing this with the national team.
"I do not know how many goals I can score for Brazil. I just want to help my teammates and the Brazilian national team, which is the most important thing."
The 22-year-old was appointed skipper of Brazil following the World Cup.
