Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has labelled his side's 2-2 draw with Italy in Switzerland as a "useful test".
Brazil went 2-0 up in the first half but were pegged back through goals from Daniele De Rossi and Mario Balotelli, and despite that Scolari was pleased with what he saw.
"We faced an Italy team that has been playing together for three years and, of course, had the advantage of unity," the Brazilian federation's website quotes Scolari as saying.
"Still, we managed to impose ourselves for part of the match and showed some good football.
"The most important thing is that the game served as a useful test, we had to face a very skilled opponent."
Fred and Oscar were Brazil's scorers on the night.
