Thomas Frank: 'Brentford plan to attack Wolverhampton Wanderers'

:Headline: Thomas Frank: 'Brentford plan to attack Wolverhampton Wanderers':
Head coach Thomas Frank states that he will instruct his Brentford side to attack struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers in their Premier League fixture on Saturday.

Head coach Thomas Frank wants his Brentford side to respond to last weekend's disappointment by attacking Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.

On the back of collecting four points and two clean sheets against Brighton & Hove Albion and Chelsea, Brentford travelled to managerless Aston Villa confident of extending their recent good form.

However, the Bees found themselves 3-0 down after just 14 minutes against the West Midlands outfit, eventually succumbing to a 4-0 defeat.

With that setback coming just two weeks after losing 5-1 at Newcastle United, Brentford will be relieved to return to home territory this weekend.

Brentford have kept clean sheets in three of their six matches at the Gtech Community Stadium, while the West London outfit are still just two points adrift of eighth-placed Liverpool.

Frank is now preparing Brentford to go up against a Wolves side that are sitting in the relegation zone and lost 4-0 at home to Leicester City at the same time that they went down by an identical scoreline at a ground just South of Molineux.

Ahead of their upcoming fixture, Frank has given every indication that Brentford will play on the front foot against Wolves in an attempt to get back on track.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Frank said: "It was a tough 24 hours. I know this group of players are a remarkable bunch mentally. They are very committed to bounce back tomorrow against Wolves.

"Winning 4-0 at home to Manchester United or losing 4-0 at Aston Villa, we need to try to be consistent in the ways we do things. I truly believe we win or learn. Last time we learned a lot and sometimes learning can be very painful.

Commenting more specifically on Wolves, the Dane added: "[Wolves] also need to bounce back. They have good players in that team so sometimes it's a matter of time before things click. They deserved to score more goals and get more points out of their last three or four performances."

"We've been very good at home this season. We need to take initiative, play forward, and be on the front foot. We need the fans to help us, which they do. The plan is definitely to go and attack."

While Brentford beat Wolves at Molineux during the early stages of last season, Wolves got their revenge in the capital later in the campaign. body check tags ::
