Brentford manager Mark Warburton has praised Alan Judge after the midfielder's brace helped secure a 3-1 victory at Crewe Alexandra.
The on-loan Blackburn Rovers player opened the scoring for the Bees at Gresty Road and added a second after the break, with both strikes coming from outside the area.
Adam Forshaw's effort then clinched the win for the away side, and Warburton had positive words to say about the two-goal Irishman after the game.
He told reporters: "Alan does that in training all the time – he did it a few times this week – so it's no surprise to see him do it out on the pitch too. I had no doubts he could do it.
"He has been a great addition to the squad. We tried to get him last season, but it didn't happen, and we were delighted to be able to get him in this time.
"As for the future, he is a Blackburn Rovers player, and I have to respect that."
Brentford are currently at the top of the League One table.
