West Ham United head coach Julen Lopetegui is set to make a number of changes to his starting lineup for Saturday's Premier League clash with Brentford at the Getch Community Stadium.
The Hammers suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat at Liverpool in the EFL Cup third round on Wednesday night, after Lopetegui made seven changes to the side that lost 3-0 at home to Chelsea in the Premier League last weekend.
Alphonse Areola is set to return between the sticks at the expense of Lukasz Fabianski, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Emerson Palmieri could also be recalled in defence, with Max Kilman the only man set to retain his spot in the four-man backline.
Edson Alvarez was sent off in the midweek defeat to Liverpool and is therefore suspended for this weekend's trip to Brentford, so Lopetegui may select Guido Rodriguez and Tomas Soucek to play in centre-midfield.
Captain Jarrod Bowen is set to continue on the right flank if Lopetegui decides to recall Michail Antonio to play up front after he made a positive impact off the substitutes' bench against Liverpool.
Niclas Fullkrug, meanwhile, remains doubtful with a calf injury and the German striker would not be expected to start if he does pass a late fitness test.
Crysencio Summerville and Carlos Soler are both in contention to feature again this weekend, but they could be replaced in the first XI by Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta.
West Ham United possible starting lineup: Areola; Wan-Bissaka, Mavropanos, Kilman, Emerson; Rodriguez, Soucek; Bowen, Paqueta, Kudus; Antonio
