Championship clubs Brentford and Brighton & Hove Albion are two of a number of clubs interested in securing the signature of Newcastle United defender Mike Williamson.
The 31-year-old centre-half, who has found himself down the club's pecking order behind the likes of captain Fabricio Coloccini and new signing Chancel Mbemba, is attracting interest from both clubs, according to Sky Sports News reporter Keith Downie on Twitter.
Williamson has previously played under Brighton manager Chris Hughton, who signed the defender during his time in charge of the Magpies.
The former Wycombe Wanderers man has made over 150 appearances for Newcastle, including 31 appearances in their 2014-15 campaign.
Fellow Newcastle defender Paul Dummett has also been linked with a move away from the club.
