Brentford are reportedly interested in signing Nottingham Forest striker Lars Veldwijk.
The 23-year-old Dutchman moved to the City Ground from Excelsior last summer but struggled to make an impact in his first season in English football, having failed to score in 14 appearances.
New Brentford head coach Marinus Dijkhuizen has worked with Veldwijk before during his time in charge of Excelsior.
Veldwijk netted 17 goals in 16 games under the Dutch coach between January 2014 and May 2014 in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.
The Brentford boss could offer the frontman the chance to revive his career with a switch to Griffin Park, according to Here Is The City.
Dijkhuizen took charge of the Bees on Monday.
