Brentford midfielder Josh Laurent has joined Newport County on a 28-day youth loan.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Bees from Queens Park Rangers last winter, made his senior debut for his Championship employers during last week's League Cup clash with Oxford United.
However, he has now been granted permission to gain more regular football at Rodney Parade, where he will wear the No.4 shirt.
In 2014, Laurent had a loan spell with National League side Braintree.
