Brentford are reportedly close to signing experienced defender Darren Ward from Swindon Town.
The 34-year-old joined Swindon from Millwall in January, but it is believed that a move to their League One rivals has turned his head.
According to Sky Sports News, contact between the two parties has been made, with the transfer expected to be completed this week.
Ward has one year remaining on his current deal with the Robins.
