Brest vs. Montpellier (Saturday, 4.00pm)
Brest welcome Montpellier HSC to the Stade Francis-Le Ble on Saturday afternoon for a midtable clash in Ligue 1's penultimate round of games before the winter break.
The hosts sit in 10th place, one point and one position behind their upcoming opponents, but are on a very impressive run of form.
We say: Brest 2-2 Montpellier HSC
With both teams high on confidence and both managers well-versed in the ways of the opposition, this game is a tricky one to call. It could go either way but we are backing a high-scoring draw considering both sides have scored 25 this season and conceded a fair few too.

Reims vs. St Etienne (Saturday, 8.00pm)
Saint-Etienne travel north to take on Reims at the Stade Auguste-Delaune II, as they attempt to move off the bottom of the Ligue 1 table after parting ways with their manager.
The hosts meanwhile are faring slightly better in 14th place, but come into the game on the back of a disappointing loss last weekend.
We say: Reims 1-0 Saint-Etienne
It is hard to know what to expect from the visitors in the absence of Puel, but Reims seem the more likely victors even in spite of the squad's many absences. So, we are backing a narrow home victory.
