Brest and Toulouse both failed to find the net at the Stade Francis-le Ble this evening.
Both sides had chances during the first half, but Pantxi Sirieix for the visitors and Bruno Grougi for Brest were particularly wasteful in front of goal.
The trend continued after the restart, as the two teams continued to spurn chances.
The best opportunity fell to Grougi in the 70th minute, but he was unable to score from the penalty spot after Cheikh M'Bengue had been penalised for handball inside the area.
Brest remain just above the relegation zone with the point that they earned.
