Brighton & Hove Albion captain Lewis Dunk is potentially facing a period on the sidelines after limping off the field in his team's Premier League clash with Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.
A heavy touch from Dunk allowed Romelu Lukaku to pounce on the loose ball, and the Brighton defender took a kick from the Belgian striker on the top of the ankle.
Dunk initially tried to run off the injury following a period of treatment, but was ultimately forced off the field in the 20th minute, with Leon Balogun coming on as his replacement.
The 26-year-old came through the youth system at Brighton, and appeared in every one of the team's Premier League matches during the 2017-18 campaign.
Brighton started their new Premier League season with a 2-0 defeat at Watford last weekend.
