Brighton & Hove Albion have been given permission to expand the capacity of their stadium by over 8,000 seats.
The plans will allow the American Express Community Stadium to house 30,000 fans.
Brighton and Hove City Council's planning committee made the decision on Wednesday afternoon.
The Seagulls moved into the £93m stadium at the start of the season following their promotion from League One to the Championship.
