Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton has called on his charges to build confidence from their first Premier League win of the season.
The newly-promoted Seagulls claimed their first points of the new campaign last Saturday when they beat West Bromwich Albion 3-1 at the Amex Stadium.
Up next for Brighton is a south coast derby at Bournemouth on Friday night, and Hughton is hopeful that his charges can take some of the confidence from the Baggies win to the Vitality Stadium pitch.
The 58-year-old told BBC Sport: "I'd like to think that it will have an effect, because that's what our game is all about, trying to go on good runs and build confidence from a good performance or good result.
"What we had against West Brom on Saturday was both, certainly a good result that we wanted and needed, but also a very good performance.
"I'm hoping we can take that into Friday's game. It'll be very tough, it's a tough place to go on a Friday night under the floodlights, but I just hope we can take some of that confidence from Saturday's game."
Brighton currently sit 14th in the table with four points from four games.
