Brighton & Hove Albion manager Chris Hughton has lavished praise on Glenn Murray following his match-winning contribution during this afternoon's 1-0 win over Swansea City.
Murray scored for a third consecutive Premier League game to fire the Seagulls to victory at the Liberty Stadium, lifting them up to eighth in the Premier League table and seven points clear of the relegation zone.
Hughton is delighted with the striker's goalscoring form, but believes that his most important attribute is his work ethic both in matches and in training.
"We played very well. We knew it was going to be a tough game and we fought very hard for it and I'm very pleased with what the boys produced," he told reporters.
"The thing with Glenn is, he has a very good record of putting the ball in the net, which is what you need, but what I really like about him is his work ethic.
"He works hard on the training ground and then brings it to the pitch. But the boys all put a shift in today and I'm really pleased with the effort."
Harry Kane is the only English player to have scored more goals than Murray in the top two tiers since the start of last season.
