Brighton & Hove Albion manager Sami Hyypia has reportedly offered his resignation to the Championship strugglers.
The Seagulls are currently four points adrift of safety in the table after winning just three of their opening 22 games of the season.
Former Liverpool captain Hyypia joined Brighton in the summer following a two-year spell with Bayer Leverkusen.
The Finn claimed earlier this month that he had no intention of quitting his role, despite the team's disappointing start to the campaign.
However, his brief reign on the South Coast is now nearing its end, according to The Telegraph.
Brighton are back in action on Boxing Day when they entertain Reading in the league.
