Brighton & Hove Albion manager Oscar Garcia has been told that he will be allowed to add to his squad in the loan market.
The Seagulls announced a £14.7m loss on Wednesday for the 2012-13 season, but head of football operations David Burke says that Garcia can make plans for possible signings.
"Our job in supporting Oscar is to make sure we know who is available at every club and who can come in and be ready to play straight away," Burke told Sky Sports News.
"With the transfer window ending, clubs squads change as well. They will be announcing their Premier League squads.
"We would always look to strengthen where we need to. We meet every day to talk about such things."
Brighton are ninth in the Championship.
