Sports Mole rounds up all the action from League Two on Saturday.

Oxford United have retained their place at the top of League Two with a 1-1 draw with Fleetwood Town away from home.

Steven Schumacher made the breakthrough for the hosts as early as the 12th minute with a direct free kick, but Dave Kitson headed home a minute from full time to rescue a point for the U's.

It could have even better for Chris Wilder's side had Danny Rose not failed to convert a penalty in the 80th minute after Mark Roberts had brought down Kitson inside the Fleetwood area.

The result means that Oxford stay a point clear at the top of the table and are still undefeated away from home in the league.

Southend United failed to take advantage of their rivals' slip-up at Highbury Stadium as they conceded a late equaliser against Cheltenham Town at home.

Kevan Hurst's goal before the break appeared to be enough for Southend to pick up maximum points at Roots Hall Stadium, but Matt Richards struck home from the penalty spot in the fourth minute of injury time to deny the Shrimpers a win.

Southend move to 33 points, same as many as second-placed Chesterfield, who take on Newport County away from home on Sunday.

Scunthorpe United kept alive their chances of a top-three finish in League Two this season with a comfortable 3-1 home victory over Torquay United and have 33 points from 19 matches as well.

Rochdale and Burton Albion have the same number of points and are in the playoff spots. While the former drew 0-0 with York City away from home, the latter beat Plymouth Argyle 1-0 at Home Park, thanks to an early strike from Adam McGurk.

At the other end of the table, Northampton Town registered an important win as they got the better of Accrington Stanley, Stuart Dallas with the only goal at Sixfields in the 29th minute.

The win helped Aidy Boothroyd's side climb off the bottom of the standings, but they are still two points from safety.
