Bristol Rovers defender Tom Lockyer has admitted his delight after signing his first professional contract with the club.
The 18-year-old, who had previously been linked with a number of Football League outfits, has signed a two-year agreement.
"The gaffer got a chance to see what I was about this season and I'm happy," Lockyer told the club's official website.
"This is good, but I have not made it yet, in years to come I want to be the first name on the team sheet every week."
Bristol Rovers finished 14th in the League Two table.
