Stoke City forward Mame Biram Diouf has urged Potters fans to get behind their side as they head into a vital clash with Burnley in the Premier League on Sunday.
City find themselves in the league's bottom three and are staring relegation in the face, although Paul Lambert's men could give themselves a fighting chance of beating the drop if they are able to find a way past Sean Dyche's Clarets.
"We really need the fans behind us from the first whistle to the last on Sunday," Diouf told Premier League Productions ahead of the encounter.
"We are not going to give up in any way, shape or form and will fight extremely hard to make them happy.
"Burnley have obviously played well all season but like I say we will be playing in front of our fans and I know that when that whistle blows they will be right behind us as we go out to win the game.
"We have to do everything we can to pick up all three points, for us and them."
Stoke are five points behind currently-safe Swansea City, who also have a game in hand over the Potters.
