Burnley defender Ben Mee has insisted that his side are firmly focused on their 40-point target for Premier League survival, despite their excellent start to the season.
The Clarets currently sit seventh, equal on points with Arsenal and Liverpool, and four points clear of Brighton and Hove Albion in eighth.
Nothing is being taken for granted at Turf Moor, however, and the 28-year-old insists that his team's eyes remain firmly locked on reaching 40 points.
"That's definitely a target for us, it's our main aim really," Mee told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"We'd like to hit it as quick as possible but we're not looking too far ahead, we're looking to the next games and we're excited about them."
A Burnley win against Swansea City on Saturday would be their third consecutive Premier League victory.
