Burton Albion manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was pleased with his side's performance, despite losing 1-0 away at Barnsley this afternoon.
The Brewers dominated the game's chances but were unable to find a breakthrough, while the hosts scored the only goal of the match through a Conor Hourihane penalty.
Hasselbaink told the Derby Telegraph: "They didn't really create during the second half. They got the penalty against us and kept the ball and made it difficult for us.
"It's unfortunate but it's one of those things. I'm happy with the players' commitment. They have done well. It was one of those days.
"We had chances even after 1-0 but it wasn't meant to be and we need to move on."
Burton take on Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on Tuesday.
