Burton Albion captain John Mousinho was pleased with his side's stubborn performance in their 1-0 away win at Swindon Town.
Stuart Beavon's goal gave the Brewers their sixth win in eight games this season to put them top of League One, and Mousinho was happy to mark his 50th league start for club with a win.
"Sometimes you come away from home and the home side make it quite difficult. We didn't let them have the ball because we know they like to play a lot and pass a lot," he told the club's website.
"We made ourselves very hard to break down, we did that and caught them on the counter. We scored from a set piece. It was a good away day performance and one that we planned."
Burton manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has now won 25 of his 40 matches in charge at the Staffordshire club.
