Striker Alex MacDonald has decided to leave Burton Albion in order to sign a contract with Oxford United.
The 24-year-old has been a key performer for the Brewers this season, but with his contract due to expire in the summer, Albion have opted to cash in on the player.
Oxford boss Michael Appleton told the club's official website: "He scores his fair share of goals but is also a very hard worker.
"He will give us options going forward and I think he will be a very good signing for this club."
MacDonald has penned a contract until 2018 at the Kassam Stadium.
