Bury have confirmed that striker Daniel Nardiello has penned a new contract with the club.
The 32-year-old was offered fresh terms at the end of last season, but he held off committing his future to the League One side.
Nardiello has now decided to sign an extension at Gigg Lane, though Bury have refused to reveal the length of the deal.
"I'm delighted to have captured his services," manager David Flitcroft told the club's official website. "The deal was offered to him at the end of last season but he did have quite a few good options, as you would expect being the striker he is and with the goals he has scored."
Nardiello was Bury's top scorer last season with 14 goals in 38 appearances.
