Josh Coulson has warned Burton Albion that his Cambridge United side "want to be the party poopers" when they meet at the R Costings Abbey Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's men have already secured promotion, but a victory on the final day of the season over the U's would seal the League Two title.
However, having beaten Burton earlier in the campaign, Coulson has revealed that Cambridge are determined to end their season on a high note.
"We've got one game to go and they've got to come here to win the league, so hopefully we can upset the party," the centre-back told the Cambridge Evening News.
"We beat Burton away and they'll want to get their revenge, but we want to be the party poopers. They were favourites to win that game, but we put in a really good performance and we'll hope to do that again.
"It gives you some belief we can do it and without sounding horrible, you don't want to see another team winning the league at your ground."
Eighteenth-placed Cambridge have won just two of their previous 12 matches.
