Cambridge United captain Ian Miller could face a lengthy spell on the sidelines with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
The centre-back sustained the injury during the closing stages of this afternoon's Conference playoff final, which his side won 2-1, earning promotion back to the Football League after a nine-year absence.
Miller was stretchered off, but returned in a wheelchair to join in the celebrations with his teammates, where he told BT Sport: "I've totally ruptured my Achilles tendon, but I've got a winners medal."
Miller, 30, joined the U's following his release by Grimsby Town last summer.
