New Cambridge United manager Shaun Derry has made a fourth loan addition to his squad.
The 37-year-old, who only took charge at the Abbey Stadium earlier this month, has already secured the services of Terry Kennedy, Ben Williamson and Ryan Ledson in recent days.
Now, Oxford United defender Cameron Gayle has also made the switch to Cambridgeshire until early January.
"Cameron is another loan signing who will add healthy competition to our side, particularly in the full-back positions," Derry told the club's official website.
"It is important that every player we bring to this club on loan makes us better and can help us with our progression."
Gayle started his career with West Bromwich Albion, before he switched to Shrewsbury Town on a permanent basis in 2014.
