Ryan Donaldson has committed his future to Cambridge United by signing a new two-year contract with the club.
The midfielder, who joined the U's from Gateshead last summer, scored one of the goals as Cambridge secured promotion back to the Football League in May with a 2-1 win over his former club.
"As with a number of players last season, we are always working behind the scenes to ensure that we are dealing with contract renewals at the right time," Cambridge's director of football Jez George told the club's official website.
"Ryan's contribution to our success last season was obvious, he's an extremely talented player and we are absolutely delighted that he has committed himself to the club for another two years."
The 23-year-old made 39 appearances in all competitions last term.
