Malky Mackay's agent has insisted that his client is not one of the possible candidates to become the new Brighton & Hove Albion manager.
Despite revealing that Mackay, who was sacked by Cardiff City last December, is currently looking at possible opportunities, Raymond Sparkes claims that the Scot will not be replacing Oscar Garcia.
"I'm aware it is an opening that has become available and for many people it would be a very attractive job," Sparkes told The Argus.
"I'm full of admiration for the attraction of that club but we are actively involved in a couple of things – and they are not Brighton."
Garcia resigned from his role after Brighton were knocked out of the Championship playoffs by Derby County.
