Carpi boss Fabrizio Castori has said that he is pleased with progress the his side are making after a slow start to the Serie A season.
The Serie B champions have found it difficult in the top flight since their promotion, having lost their opening two matches to Sampdoria and Inter Milan.
However, Castori remains optimistic that his side will soon pick up points.
"We have played well over the last 15 days and in the game against Shakhtar [Donetsk in a friendly], we showed much we have progressed," Castori is quoted as saying by Gazzetta World.
"The more we train, the more I'm seeing improvements, especially in our attitude.
"Now we are ready for Palermo. We must show a good balance and be quick to start, as we were against Inter."
Carpi travel to Palermo for their next Serie A fixture.
