Celta Vigo midfielder Daniel Wass has revealed that he wants to leave the Balaidos this summer to play in the Champions League.
The 25-year-old, who is contracted to Celta until the end of next season, is said to be attracting interest from Valencia.
Wass has made 130 appearances for his current club since a 2015 move from Evian, but is now looking to depart this summer as he wants to take part in Europe's premier cup competition.
"I think something exciting will happen for me this summer," Marca quotes Wass as saying. "I have been at Celta for three years and I can now see myself playing in the Champions League somewhere else... at an important club.
"My ambition is to be playing in European competition every season and if possible, that would be in the Champions League. My contract ends this summer and if the club wants to make money on me, this is their opportunity."
Wass has scored four times and registered eight assists in 32 La Liga appearances this season.
