Ronny Deila has said that Celtic will be "punished" if they do not learn to make the most of their chances in front of goal.
The Scottish champions took the lead in their match against Motherwell earlier today after just six minutes through an Anthony Stokes goal, but were unable to add to the score before full time.
The manager told the club's website: "I was happy we created a lot of chances but we need to be more effective than we have been in the last two games as we will get punished one day if we don't take them.
"John [Guidetti, who had a goal disallowed] was very disappointed today as he had a lot of chances but as I said to him that it was positive he was getting the chances. He showed a good attitude and the goals will come. It's all about getting confidence back again.
"It's always a risk when you don't score they will get one chance. I'm happy that he missed it and we have to learn from this, if you don't take your chances, the day will come when you get punished."
The result has left Celtic four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
