Celtic's loanee goalkeeper Fraser Forster has thanked manager Neil Lennon for backing his cause to become an international goalkeeper.
The 23-year-old, who is on a temporary deal at Celtic Park from Newcastle United, has received high praise for his performances in the Scottish Premier League this season.
That has led him to be linked with a place in the England squad, something that the keeper has admitted he is keen to achieve.
"It was very kind of the gaffer to say that about me," he told Sky Sports News.
"I obviously have international aspirations. I would like to get a call-up sometime in my career, it is an ambition of mine."
Lennon recently revealed that the Bhoys want to sign Forster on a permanent basis.
