Neil Lennon has insisted that Ronny Deila can prove his critics wrong to enjoy a successful career as Celtic manager.
Deila's side have struggled for consistency in the early stages of the season, but Lennon is confident that his successor in Glasgow has what it takes to carry on from the triumphs he enjoyed during his time with the club.
"I think under Ronny, once he finds his feet and gets a bit of time to implement what he does, then the club will be very successful," Lennon, who was officially confirmed as the new Bolton Wanderers manager on Sunday, told reporters.
"We've had great success, we're the dominant team in Scotland and I'm pretty sure the club have picked the right man to take the club forward.
"I wish Ronny and the club and the players every success because they did wonderful things for, not just my career but for my life as well."
Celtic are currently sixth in the Scottish Premiership.
